2016 Updates...

Well...I'm not going to lie...I haven't updated my news section in quite a while...sorry.  To sum up the last 2 years: I moved and have been building an awesome new studio; while I've been on national TV before (a few times actually), I was pleased to have been selected to represent CBS Radio as the voice of a TV spot that aired during the 2016 Grammys; I'm now the voice of the "It's Erik Nagel" show on Sirius XM's Opie Radio channel;  and I made significant upgrades to my microphone chain...with an Avalon VT-727SP preamp and compressor and my Neumann U87.  I'll stop there...and won't bore you with any more.  (you're welcome).

GD USA Award!

I'm pleased to announce that my newsletter design for the Center for Hope won a GDUSA In-House Design Award!

Goo Goo Dolls...

I won the audition to be the voice of the commercial for the new single / album from the Goo Goo Dolls!  Unfortunately, I cannot, for the life of me, find a copy of the spot anywhere online...so you're just going to have to trust me.

The New Mic...

I figured that it's about time I get me a new toy.  Don't get me wrong, I love my old Shure mic...but it's time for it to consider retirement...and it's time I step up my set-up a bit.  So, this past weekend, I picked up a new microphone...the Blue Reactor.  It sounds great...and it's quite the looker.
